Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2026
Your privacy is important to us. ResolveDNS is designed with privacy at its core - we don't track you, we don't log your queries, and we don't sell your data.
No Logging
Zero query logs stored
No Tracking
No analytics or cookies
No Data Sales
Your data is never sold
Data We Don't Collect
We do not collect, store, or log:
- ✓Domain names you look up
- ✓Your IP address
- ✓Your browser or device information
- ✓Timestamps of your queries
- ✓DNS query results
How It Works
When you perform a DNS lookup, your request goes directly from your browser to our server, which then queries the selected DNS resolvers on your behalf. The results are returned to you immediately and are not stored anywhere.
For IP geolocation data, we use the ip-api.com service to provide location information. This is done in real-time and no data is cached or logged on our servers.
Cookies & Tracking
ResolveDNS does not use:
- • Cookies of any kind
- • Google Analytics or any other analytics service
- • Advertising trackers
- • Social media tracking pixels
- • Fingerprinting technologies
Your browsing activity on this site is completely private.
Third-Party Services
We interact with the following third-party services to provide functionality:
- •DNS Resolvers (Cloudflare, Google, Quad9, etc.) - Your queries are sent to these services to retrieve DNS records. Each provider has their own privacy policy.
- •ip-api.com - Used for IP geolocation lookups. We do not control their data practices.
Contact Form
If you use our contact form, we will receive your email address and message. This information is only used to respond to your inquiry and is not stored in any database or used for marketing purposes.
For abuse prevention, we may temporarily log IP addresses of contact form submissions. This data is used solely to prevent spam and is not shared with third parties.
